There is a deep bond that unites Perugia to its lake, a bond that has been reflected for centuries in the works of artists and craftsmen who have made the history of our city. The greatest masterpieces of art created in Perugia in the Middle Ages are a significant proof.

Our journey through the wonders of art and craftsmanship in Perugia will take us along via Trasimena, the via del Chiugi, the ancient road of Etruscan origin which has linked Perugia to its lake for millennia.

Along this fascinating route we will stop in the shops and ateliers of goldsmiths, paper mills and ceramists, such as that of Maria Antonietta Taticchi who in her works reflects the magic of the Umbrian landscapes with the same love that inspired Pietro Vannucci, known as il Perugino, 500 years ago.
During our visit we will be able to see Perugia from above, from the top of the ancient Sciri tower and ideally turn our gaze to the view of Trasimeno.

Our journey will be crowned by the numerous allegorical representations of Trasimeno present in the main city monuments which, after hundreds of years, keep alive the strong presence in the collective imagination of Lake Perugia.
