At number 1 Via Sant’Agata, inside a historic 17th-century building, you’ll find an ancient Etruscan well (13 meters deep, with 5 meters of drinking water).
It reveals the structure of Perugia’s subsoil and the presence of pebbles mixed with sand and clay. Most of the houses in the city already had their own wells in the Etruscan period, and kept them also in the Roman and Medieval ages.
Today the place is home to the Mogrè Ceramiche Workshop.
