Leonardo Mancini
Mancini Interiors
My commitment to the Umbrian territory and to the city of Perugia consists precisely in staying here, trying to propose models and objects that have a strong link with our tradition and that are also able to adapt to contemporary ways of living.
Mancini Interiors is the Art, Restoration and Interior Design Studio run by the Mancini family. This Workshop has a centuries-old tradition and it is located in Perugia’s historic center where the Mancini family has worked since the 18th century.
Today, Leonardo Mancini carries on the family Workshop where he not only designs doors, chandeliers, furnishing and wall decorations, but also restores and sells ancient furniture, frames and paintings. He makes handmade wooden or iron pieces through the use of acrylic gilding plaster and tempera colors, pure or imitation gold leaf, silver and metallic pigments. Every piece is finally lacquered, giving the objects a silky surface; techniques handed down from father to son. The creation of each piece of furniture is a process consisting of multiple phases: the study of the space, the analysis of the client’s needs and goals, the style elaboration, the feasibility study, the creation of a model or a prototype, any adjustments, and finally the creation.
Mancini’s creations are absolutely uniquebecause all of the stages of the decoration are handmade. They are a result of the combination of the craftsman’s talent, culture and experience. This is why Mancini’s pieces have different styles, from the most classic to the most modern, in order to meet each customer’s needs. These valuable creations enter customers’ daily life, enriching their homes with quality furnishings, rich in history and tradition.
The precious work of Leonardo Mancini is the result of a centuries-old heritage that he preserves and dutifully carries on.
